Spark your creativity, delight your senses, and quiet your mind with afternoon tea and the mindful practice of pearl jewellery-crafting.
Housed within one of Perth’s finest heritage buildings is a unique experience to spark your creativity, delight your senses, and quiet your mind.
MONFORM is pleased to invite you to an afternoon of mindful jewellery making, where you’ll enjoy an artisan afternoon tea and handcraft a personalised pearl jewellery piece for yourself or someone special to cherish.
Start by relaxing into the private, sumptuous and beautifully appointed workshop space at the State Building's Mello House. Clear your thoughts while enjoying an exquisite in-house blend of tea (or wine for those who prefer a little boost to ignite ingenuity) and an array of nibbles, courtesy of the kitchens at The Post restaurant.
Then, let your creativity take hold as you’re guided through the process of handcrafting your jewellery piece, using an assortment of fine quality findings, charms, and of course, our signature baroque pearls.
A feast for the senses, pay special attention to your surroundings while you work. You'll be encouraged to focus awareness on the practice of mindful observation, listening, and tasting, as well as on the textures and sensations of touch as you create, to achieve a state of presence.
Complete your treasure with a personalised card and gift-ready box. Come away with a new skill, a sense of serene relaxation and a one-of-a-kind jewellery piece - thoughtfully handmade, tastefully encased and ready to enjoy - or go under the tree!
All materials and tools are provided for the afternoon, and beginners are absolutely welcome - no experience is needed. As a beginner's hand-building class, there is no soldering is necessary.
Small, intimate numbers allow for occasional one-on-one assistance and meaningful conversation with other attendees. Small group bookings are of course welcome, though if you would like to book a private class, please email us at email@example.com.
A delightful way to spend the afternoon, we hope to welcome you to this unique experience that is to be offered over a limited number of occasions.
Tickets are $189 per attendee and include materials and pearls for your jewellery (the same fine quality, large freshwater pearls and 14k-18k gold-filled and vermeil metals that are used in our collection pieces), jewellery-building guidance, gift packaging, Mello House's delcious tea blends (or wine), and artisan food selection.
